The Seton Imaging Services Department plays a key role in Seton Medical Center’s standing as a leading health care provider in San Mateo County. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment and an experienced staff of highly trained professionals, the Seton Department of Radiology is dedicated to providing high quality, individualized service.
California Advanced Imaging Medical Associates represents a premier group of radiologists who work in partnership with Seton Medical Center to provide a full range of radiology services from diagnostic imaging to interventional procedures. Seton radiologists are Medical Doctors board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology and are experts in reading MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and film Radiography (Chest, Abdomen and Bone X-rays), in addition to performing Interventional Radiology procedures.
Interventional Radiology is a specialty that uses minimally invasive guided procedures as alternatives to invasive surgical tests and treatments. Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), Peripheral Arterial Disease (PVD) treatments, Hepatic Chemoembolization, DVT treatments, and biopsies are a few examples of interventional procedures that are performed at Seton Medical Center.
Our physicians work closely with patients and their physicians, providing concise and accurate image interpretation to expedite disease diagnosis and follow patients’ care.
