Helping individuals manage their diabetes while providing support of the whole person – body, mind and spirit – is the focus of a dedicated team of diabetes professionals, including a registered nurse and dietician who are certified diabetes educators. These health care professionals work with each patient to develop an individualized diabetes care plan.

Gastroenterology Laboratory
|
A broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services are performed in the state-of-the-art Gastroenterology (GI) Laboratory, including upper endoscopy, small-bowel enteroscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. Precancerous and cancerous tumors may be biopsied, and possibly removed, at the time of the procedure.

Physical Rehabilitation Center
|
Designed with patient comfort and convenience in mind, the Physical Rehabilitation Center includes a spacious and fully equipped gym for the full range of rehabilitation care. Common treatments include back and spine rehabilitation, chronic and acute pain management, and rehabilitation following ligament reconstruction and joint replacement, stroke, amputation, and brain injury.

The nationally certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Seton is designed to restore cardiac patients to optimal function for activities of daily living, recreation and employment. The program focuses on individuals with a history of angina, myocardial infarction (heart attack), stent or heart surgery, or angioplasty. Starting with a comprehensive, individualized assessment, the program provides monitored and supervised exercise training; education in cardiac risk factors and stress management; nutrition and medication counseling; and individual and group support.

Internationally renowned for research demonstrating the effectiveness of pulmonary rehabilitation for individuals with chronic breathing problems, Seton offers individualized education, monitored exercise conditioning, and support to patients and their families. The six- to nine-week nationally certified Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program supports patients in gradually improving and maintaining their strength, flexibility and endurance. The program also offers community education, smoking cessation advice and the Lungevity newsletter.
