The New Life Center provides services that embrace the complete range of an expectant mother's needs from conception through 60 days post-partum, including health counseling, parenting education, support groups, medical examinations, and delivery.  All services are free; the beneficiaries are low-income pregnant women and their babies.

Charlene was two months pregnant when she first came to the New Life Center. Now she’s a new mom. Charlene delivered early, so her newborn daughter Jaylen weighed in at only 4 lb., 4 oz. All the same, says Charlene, “Jaylen’s fine; she’s growing; she’s gotten bigger.” And yes, Charlene is happy to be a mom.

“The New Life Center is a good program. You take prenatal classes, you learn about new things, and they even give you prizes . . . everyone was nice there.”
